Over the last year, Aotearoa Clinical Trials (ACTT) experienced significant growth and innovation, marked by major infrastructure investments such as an updated hospital-based Phase 1 facility, a paperless eSource system, and a Pharmacy Compounding Unit based at Middlemore Hospital. These enhancements have expanded capacity while prioritizing participant care.
The Grants Team saw record success with funding applications, with notable HRC awards. ACTT maintained international accreditation and was recognized for its speed and data quality, with participant satisfaction remaining high. Strong partnerships with hospitals, manawhenua, and Pacific health providers ensured research accessibility and community relevance.
Looking ahead, ACTT aims to expand early-phase capabilities, integrate AI systems, and improve access to novel therapies, driven by the dedication of its team and sponsor partners.
